Her Writerly Journey
Quite simply, here I build my nest of written work. You might find a poem and some free thoughts on a topic I may not be an expert on. Of course, it will be accompanied with my own photography. Think of each work as a blog post, a stand alone, and my attempt to create and reflect.
The Apricot Memoires
A book by Tess Guinery,

There is this one poem by Tess that I absolutely love:
The bare feet of my pen move across untouched textures - and words, pouring like rain, turn unspoken prayers into castles lit with stars.
For me, this encapsulates the entirety of the written word and its effects on a writer. It speaks into the yoke of any creative, wanting and yearning for more. Here, I get the sense of desperation: the calling to be something and the answered prayers that simply come from process and practice. If you're a creative, you will know what I mean.
